Interested in volunteering at Norwood? We would love to put your skills and talents to good use, whether it be every day or for just a few short hours. You can help out in the building or from home, as a classroom helper or copy room assistant. There are many different ways to volunteer.
To Get Started:
Baltimore County Public Schools requires that all volunteers take the following 3 steps in order to become an approved volunteer:
1. Submit an application to the volunteer coordinator. Applications can be found below, online at the BCPS Volunteer webpage, or by picking one up in the school lobby.
2. Complete the online volunteer training course. Visit the BCPS Volunteer webpage to get gain access to the volunteer training. You must watch the video and complete a short quiz. Once completed you will be able to print a training certificate to submit to the school.
3. Please turn in your completed application and training certificate to the volunteer coordinator at your child's school. You application will be reviewed and you will be contacted if volunteer services are needed.
If you would like to complete training in person please contact our volunteer coordinator for an appointment. It only takes about 15 mins to complete training!
